State Farm® Insurance Agent Justin Simons

"Justin has been my agent for several years writing policies for my vehicles as well as my business. When starting a general liability policy when I first started he guessed on payroll numbers never asking me what they would possibly be. As I hired employees he was well aware of any growth. He is also an insurance sales man. Knowing how policies work he never one time asked my projections for the upcoming policy term therefore leaving me to get a premium bill of 35,000 dollars. Then an audit was done. When the bill comes I ask him simple questions as to why my premium was never recalculated so payments could be made monthly at a reasonable amount. His reply is basically it’s not his problem and tells me to go call the audit company. I trusted this guy to help me with insurance. I would think that an agent would be looking out for the interests of his clients but not this one. The guy literally throws his hands up and pawns me off taking zero accountability. My experience with Justin at this point is one that is costing me at the worst possible time. I would not hire Justin ever again to write policies for me. He is lazy when it comes to having to go the extra mile or even doing things that any agent should do. He also lacks the character to be able to take any accountability in situations he had total control over. I want to add that according to state farm my general liability policy having 5 employees and the policy running for nine months has a premium of 5325.00. yet my agent knows nothing about this because he doesnt set the premiums, corporate does. I would think that my agent would always be looking to save me money maybe once a year take a look at thier clients policies and the premiums attached. im running a business and my monthly premiums are auto drafted and employees come and go. how in the world would my own agent not notice an annual premium for my little company being over 5300 dollars?? I paid 2175 in monthly payments now state farm is saying i owe them another 3150.00. absolutely beware of this agency. If you know little about insurance and need to put your trust in an agent to have your best interests at heart I STRONGLY suggest you find a diffrerent agent as this one has thrown me to the wolves and then gave me the middle finger."
